Last Friday, young people led the world in striking. An estimated six million individuals did more than just walk out of their schools and places of employment. They took a stand and said enough is enough. The time for inaction is over.
Today, I had the distinct and real honor of introducing Alexandria Villaseñor, Xiye Bastida, and Selina Neirok Leem, true global citizens who are powering the climate change movement from the front lines — young people who give us hope that change is possible. These three young women are proving that you don’t have to be a politician, or an actor, to have your voice heard and to make a difference.
